Glasses

Daddy left his work glasses laying around, and I got my grubby little mitts on them, and of course will not relinquish them now.

But I'm so cute :) I have to use this excuse as much as possible now, b/c it won't last forever (I mean I'll always be cute, but I won't always be 2 and able to get away with things b/c I'm cute)

If Mommy can remember, she will try to hide them during nap time. We'll see.

More on the Fish

The fish have survived their first night in the fairy cage. Mommy's impressed. I have a blue one and a red one (both males b/c they are prettier and bigger).

Daddy suggested we could call them Bert and Ernie.

Mommy suggested we could call them Red and Blue.

However, I will say in Mommy's defense that she did remember to feed them this morning, and is not going to let them die in a passive agressive type of way :)

Sunday

Here I am Sunday morning in one of the gajillion dresses I have.

Can't complain too much, I'm a cutie. :)

I'm really into saying "pretty dress" right now, and am starting to request wearing pretty dresses in the morning. Oy. I will also accept pretty shirts though.

Fish

I am a super lucky little girl, and my daddy loves me very much. Tonight, I got TWO beta fish at wal-mart. Mommy is not a big fish fan. You can't cuddle them or anything. But I love to look at the fish with Daddy, and Daddy is somewhat partial to fish himself.

The fish are now living in the fairy cage in my room to protect them from the cats and myself (in a little plastic tank of course).

I'm super excited about the fish!

Playgroup

A flurry of activity today - first it was the diner with Gretchen and Nat, and then off to the tot lot in Swarthmore...

Here I am waiting on my ride and pulling some weeds while I'm at it.



Mommy said, "go say hi to Grace", so I went over and gave her a hug - awww...

I did A LOT of adventurous climbing today that I have not been inclined towards before. In fact, I really surprised Mommy - heart attacks were avoided, at times only narrowly. But seriously, it's like I leaped a new hurdle in my physical development today. Yay!

Special Treat

By nature of our living style, I don't get a lot of sweet treats - Mommy and Daddy normally eat them after I go to bed, so it's not really an issue. But last night, Mommy let me lick the bowl - SWEET! (also convenient b/c it didn't involve any egg product)

Fun Times

Here I am playing under the "rug" chair (as Mommy refers to it). Haha - good times.



I also enjoyed playing in the dirt outside today (with my rake) while Mommy hung laundry on the line. Every time I passed under the hanging clothes, I had to say "ew" because they were wet, despite Mommy's insistance that they were not "ew", that they were in fact clean. Whatever.

Words

I'm saying tons of new words now (enough that Mommy can't keep up with all of them to tell you right now), and putting words together. Yesterday, Daddy was holding me in a parking lot, and I looked at Mommy and said (very clearly) "Mommy glasses". I totally freaked her out. In all fairness, Daddy had just prompted me - but that was an actual word - with all the right parts in the right places. (i was referring to her sunglasses)

Also, I really like to point out things that are "eww". Like everything. It's great.

This Weekend

Lots of running around, which was of primarily no interest to me - just being dragged along. Thanks.

Today after church, we strolled thru Media for Super Sunday - fun times. Here I am taking a lunch break in the shade. It was so hot today! (76 degrees...whew) But seriously, the sun was really beating down. It was great in the shade though.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone. Here I am at church this morning. The whole sanctuary was filled with balloons, which I super enjoyed. Also, take note of the cute dress Paka and Grammy got me - also take note that I'm wearing long sleeves and tights with it - it was 38 today. Oy!





After my nap, I got to "open" my Easter basket from Paka and Grammy - I got Elmo early, very exciting - and today I got animal crackers, goldfish crackers, and coins for my piggy bank. What fun!
