The Baby Doctor

I went with Rose today to her dr's appt. I was SUCH a good girl the whole time. I was also excited to get to go back to the hospital, and kept saying "hospital" and "baby doctor" OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

This was a pretty sweet deal. No one poked or prodded me, and I got a sticker when it was over.

Today

Here I am this morning. I am unhappy because a fly has chosen to interrupt my play. I am very distressed by most bugs right now, despite Mommy and Daddy's assurances that all is well. If I actually manage to step on an ant on occassion, I then proceed to TOTALLY freak out that I've stepped on a bug. Oh well.



After breakfast, we all headed to the KOP mall - or as Mommy and Daddy had me say, the "big mall". Here I am holding Rose's hand in the car. Awww.

My Honey

I got to spend some time with Bruce yesterday. We enjoyed hugging for the camera. I even shared my toys with him most of the visit (notice I said most of, not all of the visit). I was so excited he was there that I refused to nap (fun fun fun). After they left, I kept asking about Bruce and Baby Lily, and Mommy had to repeatedly tell me that they had gone home (sort of...)

Mommy and Daddy finally got a clue - from other friends who are more with-it - and let me hold Rose (supervised of course) today. I totally loved it, and kept asking throughout the day to hold her some more.



I also enjoy when she gets her diaper changed. I am very concerned with whether or not she has pooped.

Eww...

Whenever I see Rose's belly button, I say "Eww poop" because I think it looks like her belly button is pooping.

Fashion

Piggies

Last night, I enjoyed playing (gently) with Rose's piggies - smelling them, touching them to my face, you get the idea. I thought this was a real hoot.

I still don't really get why I can't give her any toys - she must be pretty bored - but oh well, more for me!

Outing

Today Granny took me to a b-day party out at Linvilla Orchards. Appparently, I had a super time, and enjoyed the playground immensely. There are no pictures though. Sorry. I really liked the party hat that they gave out, and wore mine a lot, even once I was home. Then Mommy showed me that I could use it as a purse, and I had fun with that too.

Some Pics

First, here's the link to Rose's blog. She doesn't have a lot of thoughts yet, but I'm sure she'll be up and running in no time.

I really enjoy being a big sister. When everyone came home from the hospital yesterday, I was so excited. I went right over to Rose (in her car seat) and said "Baby Rose!" and gave her a big kiss. I try to share my toys with her, but she's not quite ready for that yet.

This morning, when Mommy came in to my room to say good morning, I said "hi mommy" and then "baby rose night night?"

I've been a bit of a toot, but that's more due to Mommy being home and not really doing a whole lot yet. I've had lots of fun with Granny, but now I have to readjust to life :) But the big sister part is lots of fun, and makes it all easier.

Here I am before church this morning. Aren't I cute :) You'll notice Granny's been fixing my hair - ribbons and what not.

Fun Times

I've been having a lot of fun with Granny. I'm talking a lot more too, and just generally being a great kid.

Little do I know that everything is about to change...

I'm sure I'm going to love being a big sister, and frankly, it will be nice for Mommy to have energy again (eventually).

In the meantime, I'm enjoying getting spoiled (just a little bit) :)

Fun Times

Today I got to hang out with Stephanie (Mommy was there too, but that's not nearly as exciting). We went out to breakfast, and then went to the mall. Mommy had her toes done, and Stephanie and I went shopping. She got me this sweet bouncy ball that has disney stuff on it (even tho' I have no concept of what disney is, it's a really pretty ball). Stephanie is now my best friend. After Mommy's toes were done, we walked around a little more. By a little, I literally mean a little. Mommy didn't have much "steam" in her. It was a lot of fun, and I'll get to see Stephanie again this week when Mommy has to go to the hospital.

I even got to wear my rain boots today and actually stomp through puddles - super fun!

So Many Words

I woke up from my nap today with an increased vocabulary. Sometimes this happens randomly.

Today's gem - Mommy comes in to get me up from my nap, and I asked her "is daddy 'ome?"
Of course, then we had to establish that Mommy was home, and so was Wawo (that's what I call myself right now - still working on those l's)

My "milk" is getting better too... at first, it sounded like "mow", and now it's more like "mill"

This whole speaking in mostly sentences is very cool, and Mommy is very excited about it as we have a better understanding between us now.

Mommy and I have a lot of outings and what nots planned this week, culminating in the arrival of Granny (yay!) on Thursday.
