Linvilla

We went to Linvilla today - hurray for pumpkinland, playgrounds, and train rides! It was really bright this morning, so that's why we're squinting in most of the pictures...

From the Past

Well - like 3 weeks ago - we finally got the picture cd from Granny, so here are some pics from her visit...

Having a violin lesson...note - one should always wear western wear and fairy skirts for a lesson...

Typing

I shun the trappings of modern technology. I prefer the old-fashioned way for my correspondence.

Where do I get these things?

So...at some point a couple of weeks ago, I was calling Mommy "Ashlie". Maybe because I heard Granny calling Mommy this. We're not sure.

This morning, I was calling Mommy "Ashlie" again.

Mommy says it was cute, but in the kind of way where we hope I don't keep doing it.

Sure, I say this clearly, but not my own name :)

Dr Visit

I had my flu shot today.

First, Rose had her dr. appt, so I got to see her get like 400 shots, and how she cried, and all that jazz...

then we had to go in another exam room for me.

2 nurses came in - since Mommy had Rose in the ergo, the one nurse had me sit on her lap and she pinned me down. Then the other nurse stuck me with the needle.

Then it was over.

I didn't cry or anything! The nurses were VERY impressed with me.

Mommy said "see, that wasn't so bad, but did it hurt a little?"

to which I said "yes".

But I dealt with it very bravely.

I was so excited about my bandaid that when we got home, I had to take my shirt off so I could revel in it's wondrousness.

A Picture

Here I am sporting my new outfit courtesy of the kids clothing swap at church yesterday.

Words that shouldn't be in my vocab... "mint chocolate"... sure, I say this perfectly clearly.

See, it's become a bit of a thing now that when we go to Wawa, I get a york peppermint patty - the little 25 cent one. I'm learning how to savor it - I'm still of the opinion that the best way to eat it is by shoving it all in my mouth at once...

We Are Family

Mama T. and Granny were in town this week for a visit. It was great to see them. I hadn't seen Mama T. (my great grandmother) in almost a year and a half. I impressed both of them with my language skills and my table manners.

As mommy was going through the pictures from this week, we realized we didn't actually take that many. Oops. (we think Granny took a lot, but we'll have to wait and see for that)

Here's some pics from the zoo...

and the 4 generations...
