A Lazy Day at Home
Today was just a lazy day at home (well, for me anyway - Mom had chores to do).
I played with Mr. Kitty for awhile - my own miniature Afton!

Here's the real deal...

and a picture of Medea so she doesn't get jealous... Hey! That's my bassinet!

My newest trick is putting my toes in my mouth - here's the money shot.

Now it's off to bed and sleep, precious sleep.

A Walk in the Park
(as told by Willow)
Today it was off to Ridley Creek State Park for a 5 mile stroll. Here we are at the beginning of the trail - Liam, Erika, Cora, Grace, and not pictured - Jess, me, and Mom. Erika is supermom putting training wheels on the bicycle - Mom tried to help, but was only moderately a supermom as she put her side on backward... oh well - Liam only had to fall off twice before they figured out how to fix it. Better to practice these things on other people's kids - so when it's my turn, Mom will know what to do.

And now, for a picture of nature, and some of my reflections.

"Ah, behold the beauty of God's creation..."

"...the way the sunlight filters gently through the verdant leaves..."

"...there, do you hear the gentle song of the meadowlark?"

"...and the way the grass gently blows in the breeze - 'tis truly a most glorious day here at the park."

I enjoyed hanging out with my friends too...
Cora, the English beekeeper

Liam, Cora's brother, a true superhero on his bicycle (seen here during a valiant recovery after plummeting to the earth)

and Grace, who always has a winning smile for the camera.

and not to mention me and Mom, standing in front of some corn. Why? Because it was there.

Thanks for stopping by - see you next time!

A New Friend
Willow has been anxiously anticipating the arrival of Baby Bruce. Before going to the hospital, we had to get ready to go...well, really, it was just another excuse to take a cute picture...

...then it was off to the hospital. Willow had a brief tour of where she was born and spent her first few days - she wasn't that impressed. And then finally, she got to see "Auntie" Bridget and Baby Bruce...

...what a cutie pie! it's hard to believe she was even smaller than that at birth - but obviously, she's caught up now! We'll pretend this next picture is Willow wishing the new family best of luck.

Too Cute
Here's a picture of the canopy Mary K. got her - we finally got it put up today. Don't worry, once she's standing in her crib, we'll safely secure it out of the way.

And now for a cute picture... I swear I don't make these things up - it's all Willow. This is her expression after I've woken her up from a nap to head out the door.
