Today it was off to Ridley Creek State Park for a 5 mile stroll. Here we are at the beginning of the trail - Liam, Erika, Cora, Grace, and not pictured - Jess, me, and Mom. Erika is supermom putting training wheels on the bicycle - Mom tried to help, but was only moderately a supermom as she put her side on backward... oh well - Liam only had to fall off twice before they figured out how to fix it. Better to practice these things on other people's kids - so when it's my turn, Mom will know what to do.

And now, for a picture of nature, and some of my reflections.

"Ah, behold the beauty of God's creation..."

"...the way the sunlight filters gently through the verdant leaves..."

"...there, do you hear the gentle song of the meadowlark?"

"...and the way the grass gently blows in the breeze - 'tis truly a most glorious day here at the park."

I enjoyed hanging out with my friends too...
Cora, the English beekeeper

Liam, Cora's brother, a true superhero on his bicycle (seen here during a valiant recovery after plummeting to the earth)

and Grace, who always has a winning smile for the camera.

and not to mention me and Mom, standing in front of some corn. Why? Because it was there.

Thanks for stopping by - see you next time!

Wow. Such eloquent words for such a tiny human. I'm very impressed, Willow.
