When I got up from my nap yesterday, my mother forced me into a bee outfit. Then she forced me to pose for pictures. At first I was not too happy about this.



Eventually, I warmed up to the fun...





After dinner, Rose and I got into the stroller, and Mommy and Daddy took us for a long walk in the dark. There were a lot of other people out walking around too...



We ended up at a park. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot of the park. At each car, there was someone dressed in a weird outfit. Mommy would have me go up to the person and ask for candy. Then I had to say thank you. People kept expecting me to "trick or treat", but Mommy and Daddy forgot to tell me about that.





At the first car, the lady told Mommy that my bag wasn't big enough - and she gave us a grocery bag. After a few cars, I got the hang of this candy begging thing, and made myself quite comfortable.

Shortly before leaving, we ran into Gretchen and Nat (nat's dad too) - which is not surprising since they were the ones that told us about the "trunk or treat" event...



I only got to keep a few pieces of the candy. The rest of it has mysteriously disappeared...
(editor's note - the park thing was a church function in the town next door to us - giving out free candy, hot apple cider, and they had a puppet show too - which we did not stick around for)
